Has it been awhile
since you took the Basic Pistol training? Would you like
the opportunity to brush up on your basic training? This
follow up course is open to anyone who has gone through the
basic pistol course. Coaches will be on the range to help
you. The fee is just $20.00 per person. You may
bring your own gun and ammunition or you may rent a range gun
for just $5.00. If you use a range gun, you will need to
purchase our ammunition. Bullseye targets will be provided
by Cleland's.
Check the calendar for date and time.

"Thank you
Cleland's. Until I took the basic pistol and the
intermediate pistol classes at Cleland's, I had never shot a
pistol and had not handled anything above a .22 rifle as a teen
many years ago. Now I can shoot targets like the one here.
Okay, not all are this good (on a bad day), but they are all
getting better with practice." JJ

Pistol Lessons
|

These
lessons are scheduled with the instructor. The $50.00 lesson fee
covers the instructor's fee and the range time. The
lessons are one-on-one and performed at your pace. On
average most people take two to three lessons which are
scheduled for half an hour but easily extended over to 40 to 45
minutes.
The first lesson covers breathing, sight picture, trigger
control and basic gun functions. A small amount of
shooting is done with either a .22 caliber revolver or
semi-automatic. The .22 caliber is used because of the low
recoil and is great for learning the basics of shooting.
You will also receive a firearms safety training packet.
The second lesson consists of all shooting. You are
welcome to bring your own gun or choose from the variety of
calibers on our range gun program. There is not fee for
the gun rental. However, the ammunition is an additional
cost to your lesson fee. Basic pistol instruction does not
apply towards Ohio Concealed Carry certificate.
